Certified Flight Instructor

A Certified Flight Instructor encompasses a wide range of privileges that not only enhances their professional abilities but also contribute significantly to the development of skilled and safe pilots.

These Privileges Include: Ground and Flight Instruction, Flight Reviews, Complex Aircraft Instruction, High-Performance Aircraft Instruction, Tailwheel Aircraft Instruction, and Building Flight Time Experience.

The Requirements

  • Hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate or Airline Transport Pilot Certificate

  • Hold an Instrument Rating

  • Hold at least a Third-Class FAA Medical

  • Received Training from an Authorized Instructor

  • Fundamentals of Instruction Knowledge Test

  • Flight Instructor Airplane Knowledge Test

  • Checkride (Oral + Practical)

Pay As You Go

  • Ground Instruction: $70/Hour

  • Flight Instruction: $70/Hour

  • C-172 or PA-28: $160/Hour

  • C-172RG: $200/Hour
