Pilot

A Commercial Pilot Certificate grants several privileges, allowing the Pilot to perform a wide range of aviation-related activities for compensation or hire. It will enhance both, the personal and professional aspects of a pilot’s career, offering more opportunities, higher earning potential, and an exciting and rewarding lifestyle.

Some Commercial Pilot opportunities include: Aerial Survey, Skydive, Charter, Agricultural, Banner Towing, Air Ambulance, Pipeline Patrol,  Airline Pilot.

The Requirements

  • 250 Hours Total Time

  • 100 Hours Pilot-in-Command

  • 50 Hours Cross-Country

  • 20 Hours Dual Instruction

    • 10 Hours in Complex Aircraft or TAA

    • 10 Hours Instrument

    • 2 Hour Cross-Country > 100 NM in daytime

    • 2 Hour Cross-Country > 100 NM nighttime

  • 10 Hours Solo or Acting PIC

    • A Cross-Country ≥ 300 NM

    • 5 Hours Night Time

  • Written Exam

  • Checkride (Oral + Practical)

Pay As You Go

  • Ground Instruction: $60/Hour

  • Flight Instruction: $60/Hour

  • Chief Flight Instructors: $70/Hour

  • C-172 or PA-28: $160/Hour

  • C-172RG: $200/Hour
